What does a dental implant involve?

Treatment step by step
1. The placement of the implant, which lasts for approximately one and a half hours.
2. This implant is, in fact, a small titanium screw, which will be placed into the bone through specific surgical interventions. No pain or swelling.
3. 4-6 months after the placement of the implant: uncover the dental implant and apply an abutment (a metal screw that extends at the gumline to support the future artificial dental crown).
4. The prosthesis.
